Love. Sex. Marriage?

20:30

“Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
–This is where the Catholic Church is coming from. With this statement from the Bible, the church expects every married couple to practice what is said in the Holy Book.

Archbishop Oscar Cruz (CBCP) reiterated the standpoint of the Catholic Church that the holy matrimony is for procreation. Damn, yes! But to ban the infertile people’s right to marry just because they cannot conceive is just too much.

How about love? How about the union of two souls in the name of great affection?

You are saying that those who cannot procreate or decide to procreate is committing a mortal sin in the eyes of God. Is that even justifiable?

Approximately 85% of the Filipinos are Christian (mostly Roman Catholic). Not everybody can R-E-P-R-O-D-U-C-E but everybody can L-O-V-E. So why interdict them from being happy together if they cannot produce offspring? I just can’t see the point.

Even couples who do not plan to have babies can have their marriage revoked, for they have failed their purpose to multiply. What the F!
