When LOVE is on the Rocks…

00:35

In a romantic relationship, how did you really start? Were you purely friends before the romantic feeling? Or was the feeling there before you even became friends?

How important is TIME in a relationship?

These questions keep taunting me for how many days now. I’ve been in a relationship so many times before. Most of it were stories of disaster. I don’t know. Sometimes I think I am just not lucky. Little did I know, God was conceptualizing a very beautiful love story for me. <3

I’ve been sooo happy and contented with my life (and love life) for the past 1 year and 3 months. I was so inspired every day, I laughed with happiness and kilig most of the time. Finally! I have actually met somebody who proved to me that indeed life is round. If you cried yesterday, surely you will smile today and be happy tomorrow.

As I write this article, tears are rolling down my cheeks. My romantic story is on the rocks. I don’t even know if this is worth sharing here in my blog site or if I would offend my partner for posting this. But to assuage the pain, I gotta keep writing.

I believe that a good relationship starts with having time with each other. Knowing each other well, being close to each other and then from there, the feeling develops. Most of the love stories I know started from this (mine is not an exception). Isn’t it that everything started with frequent texting? Like you receive sweet text messages in the morning, during brunch, lunch, afternoon, mid-afternoon, evening, midnight and even during twilight. That is just so sweet. <3 Giving flowers, receiving surprises, etc.

But what happens after the commitment? Does it stay the same?

I don’t know. All I know is I’m hurting. I don’t know if it’s me or what. I don’t know what to do. I can’t afford to lose a very good relationship.

I miss my lover, I miss my friend.
I miss my other half; I hope this is not the end.

This <3 shaped pendant is for you.

  3. Time is important in a relationship in a way that you get the chance to know each other better and some sorts. Hopefully it's not the end. :))

  4. Wow!!! It is amazing when a guy expresses!... If you are meant to be, it will be!! Although, it seems the end of the world, things will always be better soon whether it is with her or not!
