Ever since I've watched Deathnote the movie which starred Japanese actors Tatsuya Fujiwara and Kenichi Matsuyama, I became an instant fan. I love how all the characters in the movie were given highlights and they are all significant to the story-line.
The intelligence of the two lead roles are just AWESOME!!!
If you don't have any idea about what I'm talking about, well, you are missing an entertainment that will blow your mind away.
Anyways, because I love L's character, I decided to do a cosplay of him. I really wanted to do cosplay of (if possible) all the characters. But I cannot. So I opted to cosplay as L. Here's a set of my cosplay portrayal. I hope you like it.
Deathnote is used by the Reapers which is somewhat like gods of death. Names written in the notebook shall die according to how the writer wrote the person's death. But if the cause of death is not written, the person shall die of heart attack.
Light Yagami, a law student, happened to pick up a deathnote by chance. Being an advocate of justice, he takes advantage of the super powers of the notebook and put justice on his hands. He worked anonymously killing suspects of crimes. He believes that in order to achieve a better and peaceful world, those who commit crimes must be eliminated from the surface of the earth. He was named by the people as Kira, the God of Justice.
Some are grateful of Kira because they see positive changes in the community like crime rate has decreased significantly, kids do not bully other kids anymore, and justice is served to those who became victims of crimes.
But others are skeptical about it because it seems that Kira acts like God when he is not. They think that killing criminals makes Kira just like them.
As this is posting threat to everyone, criminals and civilians alike, the government hired secret agents and detectives to know the identity of Kira. This is when L's character comes in.
The rest of the story is for you to watch. So what do you think? Do you agree with Kira's brand of justice? Comment your opinion below. I would love to know your side.

I really wanted to dress up for this year's Halloween. But I didn't have an opportunity to do so.
Anyhow, I am posting this OOTD that somewhat looks like a Halloween dress up costume. LOL XD
They say that wearing a Mickey Mouse-inspired eyeglasses is an act of an Illuminati which I think is kinda cool and creepy. I am not an Illuminati though.
Both Lady Gaga and Beyonce wore the same sunglasses in their music videos, Poker Face and Telephone.
What do you think? Is it Illuminati?
Happy halloween!

Some
of you may already have known about the facial disaster that I went through at
the start of the year 2015. For those of you who did not know about it, well, let
me briefly recount what happened.
December
29, 2014 was my worst day ever! I woke up looking very hideous coz acne
appeared all over my face. I wasn’t an acne-prone person to start with. You
might think that I am exaggerating about my feelings about this but seriously,
I felt miserably depressed during those times.
I started
to feel bad about myself, I covered, I was ashamed, I pitied myself and I lost
all confidence that I have. I even refused to look at the mirror. Whenever I
wash my face, I wanna sob coz I could feel the rough skin caused by acne.
I
never ever want to feel that feeling again.
It
took about 2 months of suffering until I decided to search for products that
could at least lessen the acne. I learned about Prestige Skincare Solutions
which is endorsed by my social media friend, Matthew Ponce.
And
so, with prayers, I ordered the Rejuvenating set.

The
products arrived in the mail and I was excited to receive it. It came with all
products beautifully set in a purple pouch which I actually did not expect. I
opened the pouch and the smell was tempting. It smelled sooo good. I don’t know
if Matt sprayed perfume on it or something. But it smelled damn good.
It
also came with a sheet of how to use the products which I was surprised and happy about.
ABOUT THE PRODUCTS
The
set includes:
1
bar Kojic Soap (135 g)
1
Rejuvenating Toner (60 ml)
1
Rejuvenating Cream
1
Sunblock Gel with SPF 30
At
first, I did not use the Kojic Soap coz I think kojic is too harsh for the
skin. But I gave in and tried it after a few days.
I
clean my face with my regular facial wash then start applying the toner. I
think the toner reacted to my acne coz it hurts a bit when applying. I texted
Matt and he assured me that it is completely a normal reaction if you have
severe acne but the burning sensation must fade in seconds.
He
advised me to apply the toner while facing an aircon or electric fan to
lessen the burning sensation. Surprisingly, it did. It did not burn anymore.
Then
I applied the rejuvenating cream. Matt told me that I should apply just a small
amount of the product so as not to burn my skin. Sorry, I didn't have a picture of the rejuvenating cream.
In
the morning, I would apply the sunblock gel to protect my face from the UV rays.
It’s very jelly but once you applied it on your face, it feels natural already.
THE RESULT
After
2 nights of using the products, I noticed there was micro peeling and little
redness that gave me a pinkish skin which honestly looked pretty well. I
stopped using it for 2 days as written on the instruction sheet. It was when I
noticed that the pimples started to heal, redness minimized and I was starting to
have a brighter skin.
It
didn’t abruptly make the pimples disappear but it was a very very good start
for me.

There are days when you just feel happy for no apparent reason. You feel bright and everything seems to be going well. You wake up feeling fresh, you sip a hot coffee and the world is perfect.
Well,
today, it is that day!
To
show my happiness, I decided to play with my ensemble that will reflect how I
feel.
Of
course, as always, you can never go wrong with a plain white shirt. I embraced
my hips with a simple plaid that compliments with the boots.
And
to add a little attitude, I wore a hat that I bought for only 69 pesos. Imagine?
So who says you have to be broke to be called a fashionistuh?!
Have
you also bought something cheap yet stylish? Perhaps you can post it on the
comment box below.
